A classically-trained pianist and pop music songstress: such is the identity of the multi-talented Hoshimura Mai
(星村麻衣) who made her major music debut in the fall of 2002 with her high-energy single "Stay With You." By no means an artist
that possesses the popularity and market-pushing power of artists like Hamasaki Ayumi or Koda Kumi, still, Mai is a respectable musician with much to offer.
Since her debut Mai has continued releasing quality singles and spreading her brand of 'piano-rock' music to audiences across Japan, and respectively, her
fans around the world.
