   Echizen Ryoma, as stated before, is the cocky protagonist. He's short, adorable, and the only first year regular in Seigaku's tennis club. Yes, Echizen's like the bastard child of the team but everyone loves him.

    Initially from America, Echizen's equally bastard-like father, Echizen Nanjiroh, brought him to Japan and enrolled Echizen into his old junior high school, Seishun Gakuen. Scoffed at, and under-estimated, Echizen joined Seigaku's tennis club and made everyone piss themselves at how skilled he was. Craziness ensues and so does the story. . .
